If you put out for what you really want in life, you'll probably get it.
I was putting out for someone to come along who had the vibrancy and the passion for playing the blues how it ought to be played and it's finally happened.
I've played for so long with guys who are pretty damn good players, but lacked the passion.
Today felt like a weight had been lifted. I found after just 5 minutes of playing I was sweating like a pig and was totally caught up in the moment. It seemed like every song he brought out, I could play it with the abandon I'd held back for so long.
Yes, I'm the kind of guy who needs someone to work off in a gig situation and this man is that person.
I'm giving serious consideration to dropping the other people I play with and devoting my energy to this guy. Ah, maybe I won't burn my bridges just yet.
Anyway, I'm feeling happier than a turkey looking forward to Christmas.

I can dig it, man...you give me hope! thanks.
I also think it is our due reward.
To do everything we can to get excel at our craft.
Just wanted to jump in and cheer you on.
I had a good night last night. I didn't really feel like leaving the house at all.
I went out of sheer discipline. The cool thing...?
I had a great time, and played really well.
Dutifully trudging forth, brought out the best in me, once the music started to play.
It brought me out of the funk I was in.
I was less afraid of making mistakes, more centered, and simply wanted to feel better.
(and not let the band down). Big factor in leaving the house, too. I'm the front man.
The band was "gellin" last night..too. So I had no issues with them to distract me...it was good.
The rig I played was unbelievably fantastic, too.
I can dig it! thanks again.

Why is it that we all just can't get along?<
