Just got the ChromaBender a few days ago. My initial impression is that this is going to be a really cool instrument once proficiency in bending all notes smoothly is learned. There is certainly a learning curve. I'm also finding that lower register notes are harder to blow bend than the middle register. The higher register is difficult as well. The higher register is to be expected. The lower blow notes seem to make a vibrational pulsing noise if the air flow isn't proper when trying to bend them. A smaller embouchure than I'm used to helps. I'm not sure if it's too much air flow or the gapping on the 3rd reed needs to be adjusted. Either way adjustment is required to make this thing sing properly. At first glance, it looks like it was tweaked -- slots embossed. I could be wrong though. The build quality seems to be exactly what you'd expect from a ~$200 harp. It's good. The harp seems pretty air tight. My only wish is that the corners would be rounded. The edges kind of annoy me after a bit. That's all for now. Practice. Practice Practice.
