The chords are Am and Dm the entire song. Tom is right that he's using a D harp, and if you take Am as the key, it would be 2nd position minor to an extent (1st position minor over the Dm).
There are some epic threads on guitar forums regarding the key of this song and what is ok to play over it.

I always wondered if I was really playing it on the correct harp...looks like I am. But I think I may use a few more individual notes than Sugar does.
For soloing, whether or not they know it is Am or Am7 isn't too big a deal. If you are trying to play the song, just remember to play minor. The major 7th in cross is a tough note to hit, and if you are a blues player, you generally play the minor 7 anyways.
For 99% of harp players, the 7 isn't going to impact anything that is played.
It is more helpful to know it if is a Major chord with a 7th. Minor, unless you are getting really jazzy, isn't a biggie. ---------- Mike My Website
Am7/Dm7 laysout well on a C harp going between 4th and 3rd position.
3rd position on a G works too, BUT when soloing, you have to be careful. The overlap in notes between 3rd minor and 2nd can be tricky. The 5 blow is great to hit over Am7, but not Dm7...the 3 draw sounds fine over the Am7, but isn't a good note over Dm7, etc.
If you are new to the song and just wanting to jam, you can play the middle of the harp in 4th/3rd with not bends and no real avoid tones. ---------- Mike My Website
