There's a new solo album from Dom Flemons of the Carolina Chocolate Drops. He has a lot of great blues and old time on the record,Dom plays some harp as does Guy Davis on some of the tracks. The album is called Prospect Hill. Here some from the record.I like this stuff.

I'm a big Dom fan. He is crazy good on a host of instruments that I like, harp and bones being at the top of that list. I made him a leather bones bag that he digs.

BTW, he is no longer with the 'Drops. He went solo earlier this year and he now calls himself "The American Songster."

Saw Dom a few times on the Blues Cruise, he's really talented. But I saw the new configuration of the Chocolate Drops this year at the Chicago Blues Festival, and I must say that I like the new configuration a bit better with Rhiannon Gibbons. But no one plays the bones like Dom. Here he is in video I shot on the cruise, sitting in with the North Mississippi All Stars and Lightnin Malcolm - no harp, but some jamming guitar.
