Todd Slobin, the producer of Pocket Full of Soul, has contacted me to say the following, which he hoped I would share with this forum:
Our new website is finally up and I think it is pretty cool. So, we officially dropped the price of the film from $19.99 to $1.99 to try to drive sales.
The film is available at www.pocketfullofsoulmovie.com
We are pitching this as a limited time offer through National Harmonica Day, April 18, 2015.
two things. i hope this is not a sore subject, but i don't see adam gussow listed as one of the players? also,i don't see a way to buy the actual movie from that site. hmmm ---------- www.shakeylee.com
Just watched it last night. It's a must see for any all blues harmonica lovers. Nice work,. ---------- Ted Burke __________________ ted-burke.com tburke4@san.rr.com
Downloaded and watched it. I thought the presentation was sometimes a bit forced, but it was awesome to hear from so many of the best players in the world.
The 'next generation' segment towards the end was really weird, though, for obvious reasons. Crazy what a few years can do.

@shakeylee: Hmmm. It's been a while since I watched the flick. Please remind me: Am I in it? If so, please post a screen shot in which my face shows and/or I'm identified. Because you're right: the list of players on the website has about 40 players. If I'm in the film but not listed as part of the cast....well, I've got no real problem with that.
Unless, of course, the producer emailed me to ask if I'd help give the thing free publicity. That would seem sorta low-class, wouldn't it? Or just forgetful in a way that many good citizens would find unbecoming of a producer.

Saw it the other night and I think I can safely say that, no Adam you´re not in the picture. A brief flash at the end ("on-line harmonica study material") shows you sitting in a car -- but I believe that was it.
Mixed feelings for the film in itself. I´ve seen a few harmonica documentaries before and I can´t really say that this one breaks new ground. It presupposes a bit too much about "the love story aspect" of the harmonica: we like to hear the same things over and over again. But for $1,99 ...
Adam, you do get a credit in the film, under the 'Special Thanks' section at 1h23m.
Great film. There are so many players interviewed there's only time for a tiny snippet from each one. Shame it can't be longer or in episodes, but that's the format: 80-odd minutes.
