I have recently started playing "Cruising For Love" by the J. Geils Band. When I practice without my amp it sounds fine. When I play it through my JT30 the high notes on the nine and ten holes have a much lower volume. I'm guessing that is because they are not centered over the middle of the mic. Can anyone tell me how to get the max volume out of the high notes on a bullet mic please.
Thanks.

I use mainly a two hand cup, but if I don't want as much bass I switch to my left hand holding the harp (standard cup).
If I'm using a standard cup, I switch to a two hand cup and use my left thumb and left check to cover the lower holes. If I'm using a two hand cup (both hands holding harp equally, its not an issue.
By doing this I can center the high notes on the center of the mic with a tight cup.
I've worked really hard at playing the entire harp smoothly----not just holes 1-6---hopefully with no break--- in other words-- like a sax player etc---up m down-- I have the same problem when playing the high end--I really love the chicago cupped sound--- Im also trying to be able to go to a 2hand cup---but only have some success--- 2 things that helped are was an BBE sonic maximizer with hi end boosted and or a compressor pedal--which will even out all levels on a lead---it will boost quieter hi end-- and lower bass end a little---this helped me--check J ricci videos for sonic maximizer---hope this helps heres my backing track version of 'room to move'---made 3 yrs ago-- i've worked really hard on my harp since then may re do it--it also has to much delay repeats -- anyway--
