They are a copy of the Fender champion 600 Nick. Almost identical. Sound really good for harp. ---------- Oisin

Should be pretty good, nothing to get in the way, but 6" speaker would limit application somewhat

I have one. Its a nice 5w amp for playing in small bars and cafés. I swapped the speaker with a Jensen which improved the tone a bit. I like it. It has a very organic sound. It takes pedals well. A pedal with tone controls or EQ helps to add a bit of bass. No feedback problems, whatsoever. It looks nice (I changed the striped grill cloth to a solid chocolate brown one).
The best feature is the size/portability. I live in a major city and don't own a car. So it is easy to take this amp on the bus or underground.
The VHT Special 6 is a better amp for around the same price. But it is bigger and heavier to lug around, which is why I decided to go with the Gretsch.
