Here's my video comparison between the modified Excelsior and my stock Kalamazoo. I used my standard stage rig (shaker dynamic mic>wireless>eq>delay) through an a/b box and then out to both amps. Both amps set to 60% treble, Excelsior volume at 60%, Kalamazoo volume at 100%. Boss GE-7 16k slider in full down position.

I needed a more powerful stage amp and there are certainly lots of them out there. But, good as they are, nothing sounded quite like the Kalamazoo. Thanks to a lot of good people helping me along the way, I think this Excelsior is as close as I'm going to get.
