One nice thing about technology, is that it allows you to become your own sideman. Kind of neat, since playing music isn’t all that popular in my very rural part of the world.
So, I made this video partly as a Christmas card for friends around the country, partly to show off the weird, resonator guitars I make and sell (the one here is my roasting pan reso) and mostly to amuse myself. Nobody will ever accuse me of being a pro, but playing surely does make me happy.
That said . . . thanks for all the tips, advice, and interesting discussions shared on this forum.
Merry Christmas to ya’ll, and to ya’ll a good 2019.
Merry Christmas. You know, you could get a harp rack and play your own accompaniment without fancy technology. :)
I've tried playing in a rack and all I get is a sore neck. I've tried to learn guitar but my wrists just don't hold up. I've got a drum machine though, with 5 pads that I keep meaning to get better at that does alright with harp.
I'm way too uncoordinated to do more than one thing at a time. The only reason this post doesn't have typos is because I'm not chewing gum ---------- The Blind Doughboy Music Factory
