My wifey mentioned seeing this on FB.., a GOFUNDME for Paul Oscher. Maybe this link will get you there - https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-paul-oscher-regain-his-health-and-finish-his?utm_source=customer&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet&fbclid=IwAR1fnQtWBmux6iL2KljnixoK942vd7CjP9emg8pi0OyhHkNOFtWV7enUfak
I'll always remember a picture Paul shared of James Cotton having Thanksgiving Dinner with Paul & family a couple of years ago on what was probably James Cotton's last Thanksgiving. It will make me feel good to help a man who was a friend to the end to James Cottton.
I also read something in there about going to his website and getting on the mailing list for upcoming excerpts from his upcoming book. Letting him know there's work to do might help get him out of the hospital.
Prayers might help too.

I was considering sharing this myself. Would you mind if I edited the headline to something simpler and more direct like 'Paul Oscher healthcare gofundme'?
I can't do much but I send Paul heartfelt best wishes, thoughts, and prayers. He's been in the business for a long time and has paid a lot of dues. ---------- Music and travel destroy prejudice.
a million years ago, in galaxy far far away, Paul Osher was the first white man to join the Muddy Waters Band. "Live at Mr Kelly's" featured Paul Oscher and that open a world of harmonica possibilities to me. It was first time i had heard a variety of position playing, complex to these virgin ears, i just had not thought of doing it that way. That album still resonates with me today. So hell yeah, I will send some support Paul's way, he is the man that showed me that the world was full of possibilities, of how to play and who you can play for.

Paul's still pushing forward and raing the bar for lowdown blues. His playing seems very simple, but it's a very interesting approach, where he mixes traditional blues with jazz along the use of chromatic and contrabass. I bought a contrabass because of him. Very cool cat. Does anyone know what the brand of sunglasses does he use? Very cool
Wow! That was a tremendous documentary about the man from 6SN7. I mean just wow. Incredibly cool. Some heavy blues infused shit. Seriously. If youre any kind of fan of the blues its well worth the 16:00 of your time, whether you're able to donate or not.
I stumbled across one of those TOMBO contrabass harmonicas on ebay. I did not buy it because of Paul, but as soon as I played it..., "aha!!! That's what he's got". Paul was a little mysterious about exactly what that harp was the night I saw him. He told a story about having it for years, not knowing much about it and not remembering where it came from. All possibly true, I guess.
