It can also be a proper noun because it’s my 9 year old cat’s name...”Tootles”. Btw he hates when I play harmonica....especially past hole 6.

There was a young harpist from Bootle Whose efforts to play proved quite futile Because every time he soloed on harp It always came out as a tootle
I hear that guy Thielemans made it sound pretty good though.

Last time I bought a harp in my local music shop the lady behind the counter said, "There you are, you can tootle away now"....and I suppose I do.
