Hi everybody, it's been a few years since I've posted (I hung up my harps for awhile to dive deeply into guitar... now I'm getting back into harmonica again).
I was wondering if any of you are in touch with Ben Bouman. I've been trying to contact him. I sent him a few e-mails, and left him a voicemail, but no reply. I hope Ben is OK, in light of the Covid pandemic.
Has anybody heard from Ben over the past couple months?

Thanks Nate. It is strange that Ben has been unresponsive. I am waiting for a harp I ordered (and paid for) back in February. Despite my multiple attempts to contact him, I have received no status information on my order.

Now I am getting frustrated. I sent Ben another e-mail, and also a text message to his mobile... no response!

I had the same issue after an order. Took forever to get a hold of him. He had a bunch of excuses which may have been true, who knows. I eventually got my order.

I discovered that Ben has a different e-mail address on his new Instagram account, so I e-mailed him there. He answered me immediately :)
Ben made a sincere apology. It seems that he changed/upgraded his IT systems, and missed a lot of e-mails in the process. He was able to retrieve my order, and will start working on my harp immediately :)

True to his word, Ben shipped my harp yesterday and sent me a link to track the delivery. In light of the delay and communication problems, he also gave me a free upgrade by doing additional work to get it to the Xtreme level (I paid for the Xtra). I really appreciate this!
Once I have played the harp for a week or so, I will post a review.

I'm sure it will be great. I have a few grey combed Session Steel Xtras and one 1847 from Ben and all are good. ----------

Funny that is pretty much my exact story too. Got a free upgrade because he disappeared for 6 months. Either he's full of it or he's been having the same computer problems since October. He didn't live up to his word about a free lesson either.
